Aeroplane Bio
Born in Belgium in 1983, Vito de Luca is a DJ and music producer who operates under the name Aeroplane. His career began in 2007 when he landed jobs as a club DJ, and originally performed as a duo alongside Stephen Fasano, who split from Aeroplane in 2010. Famous DJ Pete Tong, who was employed by BBC Radio 1, heard Aeroplane’s music and decided to support them in their endeavors, inviting them to do remixes and perform at events with him. 2010 saw the release of their debut album titled We Can’t Fly, and features guest vocals from a variety of artists such as Sky Ferreira and Jonathan Jeremiah. Aeroplane would later release a compilation album titled In Flight Entertainment in late 2011.
