Pakistani actor, Ahad Raza Mir was born on 29th September 1993 in Karachi, Pakistan. While studying Arts at the University of Calgary he worked as a theatre actor in Canada. In 2016, upon returning to Karachi at 17, he bagged a small role in the romantic drama, ‘Khamoshiya.’ After several auditions during this time, he bagged the lead role in the Hum TV serial, ‘Yaqeen Ka Safar’ and a supporting role in the series, ‘Sammi.’ The former helped him earn nationwide recognition and even earned him the Lux Style Award for Best Actor and the Hum Award for Best Actor. Mir is also a gifted singer who made his debut on MTV Coke Studio in 2018. In the same year, he made his cinematic debut with ‘Parwaaz Hay Junoon,’ directed by Haseeb Hassan. He returned to TV after his debut to star in the period drama, ‘Aangan.’ In 2019, he became the first South Asian actor to play the role of Hamlet with The Shakespeare Company. For this, he won the Betty Mitchell Award.
