Ahmed Magdy is an Egyptian actor who was born on May 4th, 1986, in Egypt. Ahmed was initially turned down by the Cinema Institute; as a result, he enrolled in the law programme at Ain Shams University. He joined the Clay theatre company in 2007 after receiving his degree. Before joining El Nahda Association for Scientific and Cultural Renaissance in Cairo, he performed with the group as an actor and director and directed a number of productions. “The Gate of Departure” served as the platform for his cinematic debut and filmmaking education. At the 2014 Cairo Film Festival, the movie received recognition. For his film "Cake with Cream," he also received the Silver Falcon Award at the Arab Film Festival. Moreover, “The Testament” and “The Preacher” are two of his television productions.
