Aimee Carrero is a Dominican actress who was born on July 15, 1988, in Santo Domingo, but she grew up in Miami, Florida. She began her career in 2004 when she starred in the short film “Category 4”. Since then, she appeared in numerous tv shows such as “Hannah Montana”, “The Mentalist” and “The Middle”. She started to gain recognition in 2011 when she appeared in both Cartoon Network’s movie and tv show “Level Up”. Her popularity increased with the comedy series “Young & Hungry”, which she starred alongside Emily Osment and Jonathan Sadowski. However, her breakthrough was in 2017 with Disney’s animated series “Elena of Avalor”, where she gave life with her voice to Princess Elena. For her job, she won Best Female Lead Vocal Performance in a Television Series at Behind the Voice Actors Awards. In 2018 she starred in the short film “Dylan”, for which she was awarded as Best Actress at Cinema at the Edge Independent Film Festival.
