Air Supply is a soft rock duo formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1975. The duo consists of English singer and songwriter Graham Russell and Australian lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock. Air Supply has included a number of other accompanying musicians and singers throughout the time they have been together. The band started with the members Chrissie Hammond, Russell Hitchcock, and Graham Russell in 1975. In 1976 they released their first single titled “Love and Other Bruises” that reached number 6 on the Australian Kent Music Report Singles Chart. They released their debut album that same year self-titled Air Supply that reached number 17 on the Kent Music Report Albums Chart. They have since released a number of other albums like Lost in Love, Life Support, Now and Forever, The One That You Love, Hearts in Motion, The Book of Love, Yours Truly, and others. Since forming the band they have released a total of 17 studio albums, 3 live albums, 13 compilation albums, and over 27 singles. In 2013 they were inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Australian Recording Industry Association.
