Aisha Naomi Tyler is an actress, talk show host, and director born in San Francisco, California on September 18, 1970. She attended Dartmouth College, from which she graduated in 1992. Her initial career pursuit was comedy, but her first big break came with hosting Emmy Award-winning series ‘‘Talk Soup’’, after which her first few roles in films such as ‘‘Showtime’’ in 2002, alongside Eddie Murphy and Robert De Niro, marked the beginning of a fruitful acting career. Some of her most notable roles are definitely Charlie Wheeler in the famous sitcom ‘‘Friends’’, Andrea Marino in the first season of supernatural television series ‘‘Ghost Whisperer’’, alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt, and voicing Lana Kane in the animated sitcom ‘‘Archer’’. Aisha also has quite a number of guest-star and recurring appearances in other primetime TV shows, such as ‘‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’’, and drama series ‘‘24’’. Career credits don’t end in the world of acting, though, as Aisha has credits for directing, most notably for the post-apocalyptic drama series ‘‘Fear the Walking Dead’’, and also ‘‘Criminal Minds’’. In 2011, she launched her own podcast called ‘‘Girl on Guy’’, and has lent her voice for a few video games during that period. Aisha was the co-host of the talk show ‘‘The Talk’’ during seasons two through seven, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award.
