AJ McLean Bio
Best known for being a member of the Backstreet Boys, Alexander James McLean is a singer, dancer, actor, and model. AJ was born on January 9, 1978 in West Palm Beach, Florida, U.S. He expressed his passion for performing at a very young age, and started taking dance lessons. In 1986, when he was eight years old, he landed his debut role in the film ‘‘Truth or Dare?’’. After that, he took part in over twenty school plays by the age of 12, and was afterwards cast in various Nickelodeon shows. The famous Backstreet Boys were officially formed in 1993, and along with AJ McLean, the original members were Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell. Their tremendous success consists of a few number one albums on the Billboard 200 Chart, including ‘‘Millenium’’ from 1999. Along with his group’s accomplishments, AJ ventured into solo career waters, creating an alter ego Johnny No Name, and releasing his first solo album in 2010, called ‘‘Have It All’’.
