A’ja Riyadh Wilson is an American professional basketball player who plays as a power forward in the WNBA. She was born in August 8, 1996. She spent her developmental years playing for Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and the Gamecocks from the University of South Carolina. Her high school and college career highlights include National High School Player of the Year, NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, USBWA Player of the Year, and three times the SEC Player of the Year. A’ja turned professional in 2018 when she was selected by the Las Vegas Aces with the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft.
