Ajay Devgn Bio
Ajay Devgn is an Indian actor, director, and producer born in New Delhi, India on April 2, 1969. He has appeared in over a hundred films and is considered one of the most popular and influential actors of Hindi cinema. In 1991 he made his debut in film in the movie Phool Aur Kaante and continued landing roles in a number of other films, including Platform, Bedardi, Suhaag, Madam X, Jung, Dilwale, Jaan, Major Saab, Zakhm, Gair, Lajja, among many others. He has also been in the television shows, Devi, Rock-N-Roll Family, Ramleela – Ajay Devgn Ke Saath, and Swami Ramdev – Ek Sangharsh. Devgan established his production company Ajay Devgn FFilms in 2000 and the company’s first film was Raju Chacha. In 2008 he made his directorial debut in U Me Aur Hum which he also co-produced. He has been nominated for numerous awards throughout his career and has won four Filmfare Awards, two National Film Awards, four Stardust Awards, three Screen Awards, and many more. Devgan was also honored by the Indian government with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honor of the country.
