Ajinkya Rahane Bio
Ajinkya Rahane is a cricketer born on 6th June 1988 in Ashwi KD, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India. He previously served as a captain for the Indian national team. Mumbai handed him his first class debut against Karachi Urban in September 2007. He made his first List A debut for Mumbai in March 2007. His progress through the various ranks for Mumbai has been impressive, and he has also been selected to play for Indian U19s as well as the India A.
Rahane started his International career after being selected in the Test team that played against West Indies in 2011. His Test debut came in March 2013. He participated in the Test of the tour of Sri Lanka in 2015. In March 2017, he was named India’s 33rd Test Captain. He made his One-Day International debut against England. Similarly, his T20 came against England in August 2011.
