Al Harrington Bio
Al Harrington is an American former professional basketball player and entrepreneur, born on February 17, 1980, in Orange, New Jersey. He had a 16 seasons career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He began playing professionally in 1998, and during his career, he played for the Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, and Washington Wizards. Al retired from professional basketball in 2015 and dedicated himself to his cannabis company. He founded the medical marijuana operation, Viola Brands in 2011. The company is named after his grandmother after he saw how it treated her glaucoma. Many celebrities have launched cannabis companies like Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, and Martha Stewart. The American basketball player is a cousin of NBA player and coach, Dahntay Jones.
