Al Horford Bio
Alfred Joel Horford Reynoso, better known as Al Horford, is a Dominican professional basketball player who plays as a center and power forward in the NBA. He was born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, on June 3, 1986.
Al spent his formative years playing for Grand Ledge High School and the University of Florida, and he turned professional in 2007 when he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the NBA Draft. He has since represented the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Boston Celtics, and throughout his time with the Celtics, AL played alongside Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Malcolm Brogdon, Robert Williams III, and Blake Griffin.
His career highlights include NBA All-Star, All-NBA Third Team, NBA All-Defensive Second Team, NBA All-Rookie First Team, and NCAA champion.
