Al Vazquez Bio
Al Vazquez (born November 22) is a Miami-based veteran automotive journalist with over two decades of experience. He was selected as one of the 50 jury members of the “North America Car, Utility and Truck of the Year (NACTOY), an organization responsible for choosing the best car and truck of the year.
Vazquez is also an editor, filmmaker, and DP. He worked with the editorial team of "Fama" Magazine as the editor-in-chief for 17 years. On September 25, 2019, Al Vázquez joined the Autoproyecto editorial team as a Senior Contributor for Autoproyecto.com and DriveLatino.com. As a filmmaker, he has also produced numerous TV series including "Descubriendo Historias", a thirteen-episode series that aired on CNN Latino and MundoFOX in the U.S.
Vazquez runs a YouTube channel where he shares weekly car reviews and lifestyle content. He joined YouTube on October, 12, 2006 and averages monthly views of 1 million viewers. Every Friday at 10 pm on El Garage TV, Vazquez participates in the weekly show La Conquista, where he shares his latest adventures and car tests.
