Alain Passard is a French chef, restaurateur, and TV personality best known for his culinary work. He was born in La Guerche-de-Bretagne, France, on August 4, 1956.
Alain began his culinary career in 1971 when he worked at Le Lion d'Or in Liffré, France, and he has since worked at La Chaumière, Le Lion d'Or, and L'Arpège. Alain has appeared in the TV series Quand c'est bon, il n'y a pas Meilleur, Le gros journal, Coeur, Chef's Table: France, and Stupefying, which features Léa Salamé, Alain Delon, and Carla Bruni.
