Alan Eugene Jackson is a Grammy-winning American country music singer and songwriter born on October 17, 1958, in Newnan, Georgia, United States. During his stellar career, he has sold over 75 million records worldwide and was the most popular country singer of the 90s. His soulful voice and tremendous talent has earned him numerous awards and accolades including two Grammy Awards, 16 CMA Awards, 17 ACM Awards, induction into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and Country Music Hall of Fame. Jackson released his debut album Here in the Real World in 1990 with four Top five hit songs. He continued to churn out chart-toppers that paved the path for him to stardom. His most famous albums include Everything I Love (1996), When Somebody Loves You (2000), Let It Be Christmas (2002), Precious Memories (2006) and Angels and Alcohol (2015). His record-breaking songs Where Were You, Chattahoochee and It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere are loved by fans far and wide.
