Alan Walker Bio
Alan Walker is an English-born Norwegian DJ, electronic musician and producer. He was born Alan Olav Walker, on the 24th of August, 1997, in Northampton, England, although he lived most of his life in Norway. He started mixing and producing music around 2012, using FL Studio, under the alias DJ Walkzz, before signing a record deal with NoCopyrightSounds in 2014, and starting to produce music under his real name. His debut single “Fade” was a total success, reaching over 400 million views on YouTube, 41 million streams on SoundCloud and 115 million plays on Spotify. The single caught the ear of Sony Music Sweden and MER Musik, who signed Walker in order to release a remastered version of “Fade”. It turned out to be a good choice, as this version has over 2.6 billion views on YouTube, besides being one of the Top Most Shazamed tracks of 2016. His career took off and he began a string of collaborations with DJs like Trevor Guthrie, and Steven Hiroyuki Aoki. He has toured all over the world, both as a solo artist and as an opener for artists like Justin Bieber and Rihanna.
