Alessandra Amoroso (born August 12, 1986 in Galatina, Province of Lecce) is a popular Italian pop singer, songwriter, producer, and TV personality.
She was the winner of the Italian talent program Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2009. The win opened up several opportunities for her.
Since then, she has had eight albums chart at the top of the Italian Albums Chart, as well as successful singles and collaborations, including three number one songs, and has sold over 2.5 million records in Italy.
