Alexander Michael Tahquitz Ebert, better known as Alex Ebert, is an esteemed American singer, songwriter, composer, and actor, renowned for his contributions to the indie rock genre. He was born in Los Angeles, California, United States, on May 12, 1978.

Ebert embarked on his musical journey in 1997, collaborating with friends to form the band Ima Robot. Following fruitful collaborations with various musical outfits, he ventured into a successful solo career in 2011, marked by the release of his debut album, "Alexander." The album's standout single, "Truth," garnered widespread acclaim, amassing tens of millions of online plays.
