Alex G Bio
Alex G, best known by his stage name of Sandy (Alex G), is an American musician. Born as Alexander Giannascoli, on February 3, 1993, in Havertown, Pennsylvania, Alex G started his initial career by positing his own music on Bandcamp. He started learning how to play the guitar at the age of eleven and eventually created two albums which he decided to share with his friends. He studied at Temple University but decided to drop out in order to peruse a career in music. As his success and recognition grew, he released his first-ever studio album, named Race in 2010. Seven more studio albums followed, with the latest one, named House of Sugar, being released in September 2019. Alex G’s music is often described as indie-rock with a certain lo-fi aesthetic related to it.
