Alex Jones Bio

Charlotte Alexandra Jones, famous as Alex Jones, is a TV presenter born on 18th March 1977 in Ammanford, Wales. Jones has a degree in theatre, film and television. In her final year of college, she appeared as a contestant on the show, ‘Prickly Heat,’ which set off her career on television. After college, she became a television researcher but could not perform well and lost her job twice. When an Avanti productions producer asked her to audition before the camera, she found her true calling. Her first job was as a presenter for the BBC Choice singing program, ‘Can I Gymru.’ She became a specialist in presenting in the Welsh language with the children’s program, ‘Hip nu Sgip?’. She also made special appearances on mainstream British TV on shows like ‘RI:SE.’ on Channel 4. She has presented several other shows like ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief,’ ‘Tumble,’ ‘Close Calls: On Camera,’ and ‘Shop Well For Less?’. She is best known as the co-presenter on ‘The One Show,’ a BBC One Magazine program.
