Alex Lahey, born as Alexandra Lahey, on July 30, 1992, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, is an Australian alternative rock singer and songwriter, as well as a multi-instrumentalist. At the young age of thirteen, Alex Lahey started learning how to play the saxophone and the guitar. She dropped out of university, where she studied art and jazz, to become a member of a jazz band called Animaux where she played the saxophone and was a lead singer. After eventually earning her degree in arts, she perused a solo career in music. Alex Lahey released her debut EP in 2016, named B-Grade University. In October 2017, she released her debut album called I Love You Like a Brother which was a major success in Australia. Her second studio album, named The Best of Luck Club was released in May 2019.
