Alexandre Parent, better known as Alex Nevsky, is a Canadian singer-songwriter, born on February 17, 1986, in Granby, Quebec. He rose to fame after competing in the Granby International Song Festival in 2009. The next year, he released his debut album De lune à l'aube, which received two ADISQ nominations for Revelation of the Year and Best Album of the Year – Pop-Rock. In 2010-2011, he was also named Révélation Radio-Canada Musique. In 2013, his second album, Himalaya mon amour, came out. For the album, he received the Male Singer of the Year Award and the Best Album of the Year – Pop Award at the Gala de l'ADISQ in 2014. His songs Les coloriés and On leur a fait croire topped the music charts in Quebec for weeks. Alex collaborated and sang duets with several different musicians, such as Claudia Bouvette and Sophia Bel on the song Frenglish.
