Alexander Norén, widely known as Alex Noren, is a highly accomplished Swedish professional golfer, renowned for his exceptional performances on both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 12, 1982.
Noren began his golfing journey at a tender age, displaying prodigious talent and dedication. At the age of 14, he achieved a remarkable feat by clinching the unofficial Swedish Youth Championship, Föreningsbanken Cup. Noren's talent continued to blossom as he represented Sweden in various prestigious tournaments. In 2002, he played an instrumental role in the Swedish team's triumph at the European Youths' Team Championship. Two years later, he proudly represented his country in the esteemed Eisenhower Trophy.
In 2005, Noren made the leap to professional golf, embarking on a career that has been defined by tremendous success. In his rookie season, he claimed his maiden professional victory at the Rolex Trophy, signaling the beginning of a stellar journey.
