Alex “Wassabi” Burriss Bio
Alex Burris or Alex Wassabi is an American YouTuber, comedian, and actor born in Great Falls, Montana on March 28, 1990. He runs the channel Wassabi that has a following of over 11 million subscribers and has a second vlog channel that has over 2 million subscribers. He moved from his hometown to Los Angeles, California to further his YouTube career. Initially, he started his channel with his comedy partner Roi Fabito and named the channel Wassabi Productions. They would make skits and parodies on the channel, one of their most popular was a parody of the song “Call Me Maybe” that to date has over 125 million views. The two decided to part ways and Alex became the sole owner of the channel Wassabi Productions and changed the name to Wassabi. He has had roles in several series and films like Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, Escape the Night, Laid in America, and This is How We Never Made Out. Alex also has a following on Instagram of 3.7 million and 1.42 million on Twitter.
