Alex Winston is a singer and songwriter born on 28th September 1987 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, United States. She is a self-taught pianist, songwriter, and guitarist. In 2010, she relocated to New York, where she started performing with bands as well as being a solo artist. She released her debut EP, titled “The Basement Covers,” under the Heavy Roc Music label. The EP was very successful in the UK. She went on to release two singles: “Choice Notes” in 2010 and “Locomotive” in 2011.
Winston has performed in many places in the US and Europe, supporting numerous artists. She has also performed at different festivals in the UK, including VFest, Bestivals, and Underage Festival. In 2013, she issued the single “101 Vultures” through her own label called Rat Rizzo Records. In 2015, she released the EP “The Day I Died” through 300 Entertainment. In 2018, she released the single “Tourist.”
