Alexa PenaVega Bio
Alexa PenaVega, born Alexa Vega on August the 27th 1988 in Florida and is an American actress and singer. A child actress that began a career in 1996 with an appearance in the disaster film Twister, she went on to have guest roles in film and television roles such as ER, Ghost Whisperer and The Bernie Mac Show. Coming to worldwide fame in 2001 for her role in Spy Kids as Carmen Cortez, she worked alongside actors such as Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino.
Reprising her role in the two sequels, she then became a teen sensation, with roles in the teen film Sleepover and the independent film State’s Evidence. More recently appearing in films such as Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and the horror film, The Remaining, the artist has also enjoyed a musical theatre career and sung in many of the soundtracks to her films and television shows.
