Alexander Stanislavovich 'Sasha' Bublik is a professional tennis player born in Gatchina, Russia, on June 17, 1997. He started playing tennis at age two, making his professional debut in 2016. The following year, he debuted in the Top 200, Top 150, and Top 100. His highest ranking, number 30, was on February 21, 2022.
Alexander is the number one player in Kazakhstan, representing the national team at several competitions, including the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. He represented Kazakhstan at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, winning the silver medal in the men's doubles. The team reached the quarterfinal at the 2021 Davis Cup.
Alexander emerged as a runner-up at several events, including 2019 Newport, 2019 Chengdu, 2021 Antalya, 2021 Singapore, 2022 Newport, and 2022 Metz. At the men's doubles, he reached the final with Andrey Golubev at the 2021 French Open and the men's semifinal with Mikhail Kukushkin at the 2020 Australian Open. In singles, Alexander has played in the second rounds of the Australian Open (2017, 2021, 2022) and the French Open (2019, 2020, 2022).
