Russian actor Alexander Petrov was born on 25th January 1989 in Pereslavi-Zalessky, Russia. During college, he joined the student team of the Russian TV channel KVN and the theater group, Entreprise. He was also part of the theater group, ‘Et Cetera’ which earned him an enrollment offer in their troupe. In 2010, he made his TV debut with the series, ‘Voices’. But his actual breakthrough came in 2012 with the series, ‘While the Fern is Blooming’. Other serials that he has worked on are ‘The Method’, and ‘Fartsa’. His cinematic debut came in 2017 in Alexander Tesekal Sedra’s movie, ‘Gogol. The Beginning’. It was a horror film that was based on the ‘Evenings On a Farm Near Dikanka’. He has also played one of the main roles in Fyodor Bondarchuk’s ‘Attraction’. In 2017, he was named the most popular Russian Actor by the website Kinopoisk.
