Alexandra Kay is an American country singer who was born on September 5, 1991, in Missouri. She started writing songs when she was just 15 years old and started her career in the entertainment industry doing commercials and voice-over jobs. In 2011 she became a contestant on the 2011 season of American Idol. At 22 years old she started recording cover videos of famous country songs like “Jolene” and uploading them to her social media accounts. She currently has over 600k followers on Facebook. She became a popular musician in St. Louis and she got to collaborate with several local musical artists like Nelly. In 2013 she signed with the record label Network Entertainment. Her first single was called “No More” and it was a complete success achieving N°1 on the New Music Weekly Top 40 pop chart, Hot AC, and Hot 100 charts. Her following singles “I Kinda Don’t” and “All The Cowboys” reached the top 1 on the iTunes chart and “We Wouldn’t Be Us” got No. 3 and “How Do We Go” got No. 2. She also starred in the Netflix reality show “Westside” in 2018.
