Alexandra Stan Bio
Alexandra Ioana Stan is a Romanian singer and songwriter who rose to fame after the release of her hit single Mr. Saxobeat in 2011. She was born in Constanța, Romania on June 10, 1989. Alexandra began her musical career in 2009 and became an internationally recognized star with the release of Mr. Saxobeat that won the Best Song Award at the Romanian Music Awards. Her discography includes the singles Get Back (ASAP), We Wanna, and Lollipop (Param Pam Pam). Alexandra has featured on Inna’s eponymous album, on the remix of the song Danger with Andrei The Vampire, Nitty Scott, and RDGLDGRN, and the original motion picture soundtrack of the 2016 film Sundown. She has won two MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Romanian Act and Border Breaker, a Worldwide Breakthrough at the Balkan Music Awards, and a Japan Gold Disc Award for Best New Artist.
