Alexandre Pires Bio
Alexandre Pires do Nascimento is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who was born on January 8, 1976. Pires was previously a member of the late 1980s band Só Pra Contrariar, where he sang.
Pires began his career by playing a new and more evocative type of samba known as Pagode, which is also more romantic than Samba-canço and is today known as Samba Romântico. His rhythm and melody became a little more romantic after that.
He jumped to Samba-canço, his favorite style, after crossing the "Pagode Romântico" vertent.
His most renowned Sambas-canço songs are "Depois do Prazer" and "Tudo tem A ver," both of which have a lot of Brazilian Country Music ("Sertaneja") elements.
