Alexia Putellas Segura, known as Alexia Putellas, is a Spanish professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder in the top Women’s leagues in Europe. He was born in Mollet del Vallès, Spain, on February 4, 1994.
Alexia spent her formative years playing for the youth setups at Sabadell, Espanyol, and Barcelona, and she turned professional when she signed with Espanyol’s senior squad in 2010. She represented Espanyol and Levante between, 2010 and 2012, but she has since spent most of her professional career with Barça Femení. Throughout her time with Barça Femení, Alexia has played alongside María Pilar León, Lucy Bronze, Asisat Oshoala, and Lieke Martens, and she has won the Primera División, UEFA Women's Champions League, Copa de la Reina, Supercopa de España, and Copa Catalunya.
Her individual career highlights include being named The Best FIFA Women's Player, UEFA Women's Player of the Year, World Soccer Women's World Player of the Year, Primera División MVP of the Season, and winning the Ballon d'Or Féminin.
