Alexis Michelle is an American drag performer born on October 16, 1984, in New York City, New York, USA. Alexis Michelle is the stage name for Alex Michaels, who started doing paid drag performances when she was ten years old in 2003. Before entering the reality television series, RuPaul's Drag Race, she auditioned eight straight seasons for it. On February 2, 2017, she was announced as one of the fourteen contestants on the 9th season of RuPaul's Drag Race. In episode 11 of the same season on the show she was eliminated and finished in 5th place. On May 11, 2018, Alexis released her debut album Lovefool consisting of 10 songs. The most popular single with the same name as the album, Lovefool, was a cover of the song by The Cardigans and had a music video released for it on May 17, 2018. Michelle was the cast of the show Dragnificent! (2019 - 2020) with other drag queens: Bebe Zahara Benet, Jujubee, and Thorgy Thor where they help engaged women to prepare for their upcoming weddings.
