Alfie Allen was born on September 12, 1986 in London, England. He attended schools for the arts including St. John’s College and Fine Arts College. He first appeared in You Are Here in 1998, which was a short-lived comedy on Channel 4. His initial major role was the same year when his mother produced Elizabeth and had Alfie and his sister, British celebrity Lily Allen, star in it.
Alfie started acting more in the mid 2000’s including appearing in a music video and playing small roles for shows on BBC1 and BBC2. He got his huge break in 2011 when he was cast in the fan favorite Game of Thrones. He auditioned for the lead role of Jon Snow; however, that part was given to Kit Harrington and Alfie was cast as Theon Greyjoy instead. His crew has been nominated for six awards for Game of Thrones, including several Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series awards. In 2015, he and his castmates won the Empire Hero Award at the Empire Awards in London, England.
