Alexandra Blaire Krieger, better known as Ali Krieger, is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defensive center back or right back. She was born in Dumfries, Virginia, United States, on July 28, 1984. She spent her formative years with Prince William Sparklers, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Northern Virginia Majestics. After a year with Washington Freedom, she had extended spells at German side Frankfurt and Swedish side Tyresö FF. She moved back to the US in 2017 to play in the National Women’s Super League. She plays for the senior women’s US soccer team and won her first World Cup in 2015 alongside teammates and champions Hope Solo, Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, and Carli Lloyd. Ali has won a UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga, Frauen DFB Pokal, two FIFA Women’s World Cups, and she has been named.
