Allison Moorer, born on July the 21st 1972 in Alabama and is an American alternative country singer and songwriter. Hailing from a musical family, her older sister is Shelby Lynne. Debuting in 1998 with her hit single, A Soft Place to Fall, then releasing her debut album Alabama Song soon after, to immense success.
Citing George Jones and Johnny Cash as his influences, the artist has released ten studio albums thus far in her career. Her latest albums, Crows, Down to Believing and 2017’s, Not Dark Yet, which was created with her sister, all of these albums were critical and commercial successes. With hit singles such as Dancing Barefoot, Pardon Me and Se You Free, Moorer has enjoyed a long and successful career thus far.
