Allison Tolman, born Allison Cara Tolman, is an American actress who was born on November 18, 1981, in Sugar Land, Texas. She studied theatrical performance at Baylor University. She began her acting career in 2005 when she appeared on an episode of the tv series “Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad”. She appeared in series like “Peach Girl”, “Witchblade”, “Prison Break” and “Sordid Lives: The Series”. However, she is recognized for her role of Molly Solverson as a police officer in FX’s Series ‘Fargo’ which she starred in 2014. Because of her excellent interpretation skills, she received Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. In 2019 she starred in the drama series “Emergence” alongside Alexa Swinton and Owain Yeoman. She also plays one of the main characters in the comedy series “Why Women Kill” alongside Jack Davenport and Lucy Liu.
