Alvaro Diaz is a Puerto Rican Latino rapper who was born on July 25th 1995 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He fell in love with hip-hop when he heard Eminem in his Hato Rey area of San Juan. Soon he was listening to Kanye West and Kid Cudi.
One of his first albums Mi Mi Pasión de Cada Día was released in 2013. He then began to post music on SoundCloud and his 2015 release Chica de la Isla was his first single to gain attention. After the release of his Hato Rey mixtape, and the EP iLumiLatin, he began performing non-stop. Alvaro followed up with the release of San Juan Grand Prix in 2016, taking inspiration from F1 driver Ayrton Senna. The album hit #1 on the iTunes Latin chart. He and Drake are famous for taking rap inspiration from sports.
