Aly and Fila Bio
Aly & Fila are an electronic music duo consisting of Aly El Sayed Amr Fathalah, also known as Aly and Fadi Wassef Naguib, also known as Fila. They were both born in El Cairo and they have been friends since their childhood. At age eighteen, they began performing as DJs at local venues and they built their very first studio, where they produced their beats. They quickly established themselves in the Egyptian trance industry, and so they moved on to the international scene. In 2003, they made history as the first Egyptian electronic group to be international, when they signed with Euphonic Records, a German record label. Since then, their career rocketed. They have performed alongside the greatest DJs in the world like Armin Van Buuren. They also launched the label Future Sound of Egypt Recordings, taking the name of the radio show they have hosted since 2009.
