Amaarae Bio
Amaarae is a singer and songwriter born on 4th July 1994 in New York, United States. She is widely recognized for her work in representing race and gender in music, as well as her collaboration with numerous musical artists. Some of the artists she has collaborated with include Kay-Ara, AYLØ, Yaw P, and others. In 2017, she released her first project titled “Passionfruit Summers.” The following year, she was named one of Africa’s Favorite New Artists by Apple Music.
Amaarae is also known for her passion for fashion and style. In 2018, she was featured in the American monthly fashion and lifestyle magazine Vogue Magazine in relation to women with buzz haircuts. On 12th November 2020, she released her first studio album, titled “The Angel You Don’t Know.” She also released the singles “Spend Some Time” in 2019, “Like It” in 2019, “Leave Me Alone” in 2020, “Fancy” in 202, and “Sad Girlz Luv Money” in 2021.
