Amanda Brugel is an actress born on 24th March 1978 in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. She made her debut as an actor in the HBO original film “Vendetta” in 1999. The following year, she starred in the Christmas television film “A Diva’s Christmas Carol.” She also appeared in guest and recurring roles in numerous televisions series, including “Soul Food” in 2001, “Wild Card” in 2004, “Kevin Hill” in 2005, “Kojak” in 2005, “MVP” in 2008, “Flashpoint” in 2012, “Covert Affairs” in 2013, and “Nikita” in 2013.
In 2017, Brugel starred as Rita in the dystopian television series “The Handsmaid’s Tale”. She received a nomination for Screen Actors Guild Award in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. She also played a recurring role in the teen drama television series “Dare Me” from 2019 to 2020.
