Amaury Nolasco, born as Amaury Nolasco Garrido, is a Puerto Rican actor who was born on December 24, 1970. He moved to New York to pursue his acting career and studied at the American British Dramatics Arts School. He debuted as an actor in 1998 and played small parts in several TV shows including “New York Undercover”, “Pacific Blue” and “C.S.I”. He jumped to fame in 2005 when he starred as Fernando Sucre in the famous FOX series “Prison Break” alongside Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell. He is also known for playing ACWO Jorge "Fig" Figueroa in the science fiction movie from 2007 “Transformers”. The following year he participated in the movie “Street Kings” starring Keanu Reeves and in 2012 starred in the comedy show “Work It” opposite Benjamin Koldyke and Rochelle Aytes. In 2013 he appeared in the action movie “A Good Day to Die Hard” starring Bruce Willis.
