Amey Wagh Bio
Amey Wagh is an actor born in Pune, Maharashtra, India, on November 13, 1987. His first screen appearance was in the 2006 short film Dhyaas. He made his Marathi film debut in the 2008 movie Aaicha Gondhal, directed by Sangeeta Pusalkar. He made his Bollywood debut in 2012 as Nana in Aiyyaa. Amey has starred opposite Sonali Kulkarni, Nirmiti Sawant, and Kuldip Pawar.
He is part of the theater group Natak Company. He has hosted Super Dancer Maharashtra, Jio Filmfare Awards Marathi, ETV Marathi's Mrs. Annapurna, and Colors Marathi's 2 MAD. Amey is part of Bharatiya Digital Party, where he hosted Casting Couch with Amey & Nipun from 2016 to 2018.
In 2017, he starred in Faster Fene, Muramba, Boygiri, and Dil Dosti Dobara. His role in Muramba won him Best Actor at the 2018 Filmfare Awards Marathi. In 2020, he portrayed Rasool Shaikh in Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side. The role earned him a nomination for Most Popular Negative Character in a Web Series at the 2021 IWM Digital Awards.
