Amita Suman is a Nepali-British actress born on July 19, 1997, in Bhedihari, Nepal.
Growing up in Nepal, Suman attended Birgunj's, Saint Xavier School. Then, she moved to Brighton at 7. She schooled at Sussex Downs College before attending the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, graduating in 2018. While at the college, her acting skills captivated everyone who watched her. Soon Amita Suman became a popular name in the whole school.
After graduating, Suman made her TV debut, with brief appearances in Casualty and Ackley Bridge alongside big names such as Sunetra Sarker, Lorraine Cheshire, and Nazmeen Kauser. Later, She played a younger version of Umbreen, Yasmin Khan's grandmother, in the Doctor Who series.
In the second season of The Outpost, Suman replaced Medalion Rahimi in her role of Naya.
