Amy Shark, born Amy Billings is an Australian indie pop singer, producer and songwriter hailing from Queensland. With a career that began as a video editor, she began by posting YouTube videos pertaining to music since 2016. Winning Pop Song of the Year at the Queensland Music Awards in 2016 for her hit track Golden Fleece, she then embarked on a nation-wide tour.
Coming to international notice with her hit single Adore, the song came second in Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 2016, beaten by Flume. She then won Artist of the Year and Song of the Year at the Gold Coast Music Awards n 2017. The success of the song led to her being featured on The Late Show with James Corden and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
