Amyl and the Sniffers Bio
Amyl and The Sniffers is an Australian punk band formed in 2016 in Melbourne by Amy Taylor (vocals), Bryce Wilson (drums), Dec Martens (guitar), and Gus Romer (bass). A debut EP titled Giddy Up, recorded in a session taking under 12 hours, was released in 2016. This release was followed a year later by another EP under the name “Big Attraction”. Both records were self-released. The band went on to take the stage in Australian festivals like Bigsound, Meredith, and CherryRock17, where they earned recognition from American and British labels. In 2018 the band toured the UK with King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and released a self-titled debut LP, which included the hit singles “Monsoon Rock” and “Got You”.
