Singer turned actress Ana Brenda Contreras, born 24 December, 1986 in McAllen, Texas, made her start in acting in the TV Series Barrera de amor. Contreras developed her creative passions when she attended Centro de Educación Artistica, Guadalajara. Before she took on acting, Ana competed and became a finalist in the singing competition Pop Stars, and joined the band T'detila. The talented Contreras veered towards acting where she did significant stints in many TV shows including Duel of Passions, Juro que te amo, Sortilegio, Teresa, The One Who Couldn’t Love, Wild Heart, Unforgivable, Blue Demon, and Por amar sin ley. After successful roles in all of those shows, she landed the iconic role of Cristal Jennings in the remake series Dynasty.
