Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is a Russian professional tennis player who was born on 3rd July 1991 in Moscow, Russia. A junior prodigy, she won three Grand Slam titles and reacher the World No.1 spot in the junior category at 14. Her success continued after she became a professional player, with a career-high ranking of World No.11 in November 2011. Since her debut in the top 50 rankings in November 2008, she had maintained her spot within the bracket for over 13 years. She has participated in 48 Grand Slam titles in her career. This is the eighth-longest grand-slam appearance streak, tied with Ana Ivanovic. She has bagged 12 singles titles in her WTA tour and has five singles titles in the ITF Circuit. Her biggest singles titles include two Premier-level tournaments in 2014, the Open GDF Suez and the Kremlin Cup. She has also won two WTA 1000 women’s doubles titles at the Italian Open and the Madrid Open. In the 2020 Summer Olympics, she and Andrey Rublev brought home gold in the mixed doubles category.
