Andre Darnell Reed is an American retired professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the NFL. He was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States, on January 29, 1964.
Andre spent his formative years playing for Louis E. Dieruff High School and the University of Pennsylvania, and he turned professional in 1985 when he was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the NFL Draft with the eighty-sixth overall pick. He went on to spend fourteen seasons with the Buffalo Bills, but he also had two short stints in 2000 with the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins.
His career highlights include seven Pro Bowls, Second-team All-Pro, and inclusion in the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame, which also features O. J. Simpson, Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and Bruce Smith.
