Andreja Pejic is a Bosnian-Australian model born in Tuzla, Yugoslavia on August 28, 1991. She was the first completely androgynous supermodel and is one of the most recognized transgender models. At 16 years old she was scouted to be a model while working at McDonald’s. Early in her modeling career she would model for both feminine and masculine clothing lines. She has appeared on the covers on magazines like GQ, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Fashion, Marie Claire, and L’Officiel and has been featured in the magazines, Allure, Purple, Numero, Love, Dazed and Confused, Elle, and Vogue. In 2012 she was a guest judge on the show Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model and in 2014 made her acting debut in the Turkish television show Faith. In 2018 she made her debut in film in the movie The Girl in the Spider’s Web.
